Congratulations to the Seattle Supersonics, I mean Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat

The Oklahoma City Thunder have defeated the San Antonio Spurs in 6 six games to reach the NBA Finals for the first time in their history.  Derrick Fisher will attempt to win his sixth ring against the Miami Heat who have the talents of Bosh, Wade and LeBron.  Kevin Durrant has been on fire this whole series and is showing that he is capable of winning.  LeBron will be looking to add his first ring to his collection.  I'm hoping for the Heat to win this year as I saw them play when I was on holidays.  Here is a few of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat Adrenalyn XL cards that are available.

About a month ago I met Ryan from Sports Card Radio in his natural habitat of Stockton, California.  My family had come up to the USA for a holiday and I had always wanted to meet the guys in person as they were pretty much my hero's for Sports Card Collecting or in another term, the Kobe Bryant of Sports Cards.  We had a great time at Buffalo Wild Wings which is different for people from Australia like myself.  Ryan is a great guy and had talked to us about everything from Sports to cars!  A few weeks ago I received a package which contained this beauty of an Adrenalyn Card and my brother's latest 1/1 card...  All jokes aside, I got a Jason Richardson Extra Signature from Series 2, which happens to be my first NBA Series 2 NBA Adrenalyn XL card (hard to believe right!).  Jason Richardson is one of my favourite players and I'm not saying that because I'm a Magic fan!  One again, thanks to Ryan and Colin from Sports Card Radio and remember to check them out!

Peyton Manning Extra Signature Mystery Solved!

As seen here, I had found a picture of a Peyton Manning Extra Signature which I wasn't sure of where it had come from.  Whilst searching the NFL shop, I came across NFL series one Adrenalyn XL card sets.  There is a full box and 10 starter packs avaliable all which say includes Peyton Manning Extra Signature.  I would buy one of these for the card but the postage of gear to Australia is an insane price which I am not willing to pay.  But anyway enjoy the pictures and maybe pick one up for yourself.

Henrik Lundqvist Extra Signature

With the Playoffs going on so far, Henrik has been playing great, more than great.  His Extra Signature displays his immense talent with the ability to block all but four shoots making it hard to beat him in a shoot off.  Henrik is a must in anybody's team for Adrenalyn XL.

Peyton to the Broncos, Tebow to the Jets and Peyton has a Unknown Extra Signature?

The NFL world was shaken when the Denver Broncos signed Peyton Manning for five years.  This caused a trade with the New York Jets sending Tim Tebow to go to the Jets.  This was a big surprise for me as I expected him to go to a different team.

Whilst I looked into the trade I decided to look at their Adrenalyn cards from booth series'.  I managed to find a Extra Signature of Peyton Manning on Panini's website.  I've tried looking everywhere to find out how to get it but I have not managed to find anything.  If you look at it it says "ESPM" where the card number usually is.  Below is a pile of both their Adrenalyn Cards besides Peyton Manning's series 2 base and ultimate cards.  If you notice, both Tebow and Manning are the only two NFL Adrenalyn XL players to have a special extra signature.

NFL Competition Winner Announced!

NFL Adrenalyn XL Competition time!!

Hot Adrenalyn Cards Featuring Jackson, Durant, Thornton & Rooney

This Post will be apart of a theme called Hot Adrenalyn Cards which will feature a players card from each of the four Adrenalyn XL sports.  So basically every so often I will create one of these posts with players to watch out for.  Enjoy and comment for suggestions or players who should be added to this list.


Fred Jackson

Fred was a big factor in the Buffalo's 31-34 win against the Pat's breaking a 15 game loosing streak too them.  Jackson made a run in the dying moments of the 4th quarter which helped Rian Lindell kick the winning field goal.  I decided to choose Jackson's Extra Signature card which packs a powerful run of 50!

Kevin Durant

Durant has been doing it all during the NBA Lockout.  Durant is filming a film in Hollywood and appeared in a Nike commercial for the new Back to the Future shoes.  Durant is also known for his high scoring tempo and now has a deal with Panini.  His series 2 Ultimate card packs a punch in offence but not much can be said about his defence in the online game.

Joe Thornton

Thornton is one of the great hockey players in the NHL.  Thornton is also great in the play off's and does not choke.  Thornton plays on the San Jose Sharks which happens to be the favourite team of another blogger San Jose Fuji who runs The Chronicles of Fuji.  Thornton's Ultimate also has a high offence rating of 98.

Joe Thornton's Ultimate card is great on any team online.

Wayne Rooney

Rooney is the best player on Manchester United at the moment and has been on fire this season.  Rooney scored a hat trick against Arsenal in the 8-2 thrashing.  It's no surprise that his Adrenalyn cards have high stats as he tries to lead United to their 20th EPL Championship.  Rooney's Player Legend card shares the same ratings as his Ultimate with a high offence of 109.

Tim Tebow Extra Signature

Here is a card that was released at the NFL Hall of Fame last year.  What can be seen from this card is that there is no code on the card and that there is no rookie wording near the top.  It has a Hall of Fame stamp and it shares the same stats as Tebow's base card.  This happens to be one of the hardest NFL Adrenalyn XL cards to get as it appears no where online for sale.  Now the only question left is what will Tebow's stats be for series two and will he have a insert card?  I guess we will find out soon.

All we need to see now from Tebow is a card with his Monk haircut!  It would be a very interesting card and very impressive.
